Throwback Thursday and Mr Rogers

…Excited to share a piece of my childhood with my son, we grabbed our comfy blanket and snacks, sat on the couch, and pressed play. We were about one minute in when I thought, maybe this wasn’t a good idea

Taking A Break

As we work to move forward with our adoption, it seems an endless road of paper-cuts and legal documents. Something about the idea of our child being out there somewhere just makes me want to bring them home all the more! The result? I’ve been completely invested in moving this process along as fast as possible and lately, this has equated to me finding myself buried under a pile of papers.

TODAY IS YOUR DAY – Original Poem

My Box – Original Art

A fun way to start your Saturday! This little guy has been a character in one of the children’s books I’ve been working on. Just to clarify, I probably won’t be illustrating the book myself, but it’s been a fun visual for me as I write. It was fun to incorporate him once again in the short poem below.

Wishing you a great weekend and may you dare to leave “The Box”!
