I LOVE this time of year – when the leaves turn various shades of yellow and red, and there’s a crisp feeling in the air! This year, we celebrated with a little friendly competition, carving pumpkins!
Pumpkin seeds were flying,
outdoor heaters were cranked,
and the power tools were at full strength!
Yep, POWER TOOLS!
We’re on to our second fundraiser and if you’re anywhere near Kearney, NE on June 9th, this is one you won’t want to miss! You may/may not know that I spent a good deal of my childhood in North Carolina. It’s where I attended elementary-high school, discovered a love for gospel and folk music and met the love of my life, Shane! NC has a special place in both our hearts!
To honor this, we’re hosting a Southern-Style BBQ, also known in the south as a “PIG PICKIN”!…
Sometimes, we don’t have many resources to make or create something great. I think street performers are great examples this. The most successful ones seem to have mastered the skill of doing a lot with very little. What can one street performer do with a violin, amplifier and looper? Watch the video to find out…
I hope everyone’s having a wonderful Christmas Eve and enjoying some well-earned rest and family time!
Tonight, we’ll be heading to church with the family, then, home for games, snacks and hot apple cider. Do you have a family tradition?
For this next DIY, I wanted to share something simple and fun that you can use as an accent on a side table or desk. My friends taught me how to make these at our Christmas craft night.
