CHRISTMAS DIY #10: CINNAMON COCOA ROASTED ALMONDS
- 1/4 c Sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Cocoa
- 1/8 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. Salt
- 1 1/2 c Raw Almonds
- 1 Egg White
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 250 degrees and lightly grease a cookie sheet.
Step 2: Beat your egg white in a bowl until frothy but not stiff.
Step 3: Add your almonds and gently stir until they are coated.
Step 4: Mix the dry ingredients (sugar, cocoa, cinnamon and salt) and sprinkle over almonds and stir to coat.
Step 5: Spread the almonds evenly on the cookie sheet in a single layer.
Step 6: Bake for 60 minutes flipping every 20 minutes.
Step 7: Remove almonds from oven and allow to cool completely. *Note: While warm, the almonds will be a little chewy. But, once completely cooled they are crunchy again!
Step 8: Enjoy!
